Visio is a diagramming program that can help you create business and technical diagrams. Vision helps you to communicate information clearly in a way that text and numbers cannot. Visio has a library of shapes that you can drag and drop onto the page you are creating. These shapes are realistic in their representation of the real life object. Visio allows you to generate common diagram types from existing data and allows export to other applications such as Microsoft Office (this is possibly beyond the scope of this course).
